MAYA breaks into four major components that are quickly and easily disassembled and assembled making automotive upgrades easy and approachable.
The old design strategy designs a product's technology first and designs the structure and aesthetics around said technology. This strategy makes structures obsolete as soon as tech or aesthetics are obsolete. MAYA designs the structure first and designs the technology and aesthetics around said structure. This strategy allows the structure to be continually reused while the tech and aesthetics can be continuously updated. This dramatically prolongs the life span of the product.
Building a fully functional prototype begins with taking apart a 72 volt 3000-watt electric motorcycle from China. Final prototype will be displayed at the University of Houston Gerald D. Hines college of architecture on May 03/ 2019
